King Lear
A fantastic twist on the classic story, but remained true to the language. With a great cast of university students, i felt it was better than the classic story.
Evita
Woking's New victoria is a fantastic theatre space and although i had no liked Evita when i watched it a few years ago, i went open minded and really enjoyed the ambience. It is a really powerfull story.
Avenue Q
Fantastic!! The idea of puppets being crude when they are so childlike was fantastic, and the songs were great. Definately going to see it again!
Hippolytus
A modern twist on a Greek tale, which I appreciated but didnt like. The idea of modernising a play was taken too far, and at the end it was clear that there were space fills with pointless news reviews and etc.
